It's a sad time, but FYI OSAGE ROOST will be pulling the plug at the end of the month. It's been a great 15 years since the start, but it's hardly ever used now and time to move on!
As a side note...a couple of years ago my boys wanted me to come watch them pattern their new guns with the new chokes and different loads and I slipped this in the truck and went to Adams. They were pattering at 40 yards and were just elated at the amount of pellets they were putting in the head and neck. I asked Adam to get this gun out of the truck. Took it borrowed one of their shells and proceeded to blow the whole head out of the target at 40 yards. just shreds of paper.Mike
Probably the heaviest gun I ever owned. But back then it was all I had. It will stay in the family for sentimental reasons. They are not worth a lot on the market. Maybe $175.00- $350.00 depending on the condition. But it still leaves a bruise on the best of them. Mike
I agree: Really GREAT gun; I wish I had one just like it....to hang on the wall. I think, perhaps, that sentimentality clouds your opinion of its performance in the field, however. No matter.....hold onto that gun; it is an heirloom keepsake!I think, perhaps, that sentimentality clouds your opinion of its performance (are you kidding me?) Have you shot that gun L-Wes? Dave
