A Gator Gobbling Stribling in the original combination

Finished one of my Gator Gobbling Striblings up today. This one is in the combination that Mr. Stribling used in 95 % of his calls.  The wood also was harvested, as his, from between the Mississippi River Levees.  The persimmon came from Burke Landing hunting club at Clarksdale,Ms.  And the Black Walnut from Anderson - Tully woods above Memhis, Tn.

The sleeker lines are the result of a thinner bottom.  The depth of the tone boards are the same as my cutting call.  I feel this helps with the tone of the gobble and the gobbler Yelp.  It does not hurt the hen yelp which is still crisp.  The cut and fly up cackle are not quite as loud as my cutting call.  That is why I make them both.  Mr. VE
