Black Ash Burl Set

This is a set of Black Ash Burl calls..Trumpet and Turpin Style Crow call. I tend to avoid burls in general (for trumpets) but always loved Black Ash Burl. The Trumpet has a turned Lip Stop with Holly accents and Brass inlays, Elf Horn  ;D (Elforyn) mouth piece. The crow call is Brass lined and has Holly nibs. I wasn't actually planning that but after I bored the blank I realized I didn't have a mandrel in that size to turn it on, so I sanded the bore and epoxied a piece of brass tubing into the bore..that made it possible to turn and finish with the 4 Jaw chuck, then parted it off. That's the part where you suck in breath sharply as the call goes on it's first flight! Thanks for looking, Dave
