You might check with Mike Lapp, not sure how many he makes but if you can get him to make you one it will be a good one  RkLu

Jeff,

I have two good push/pull type calls. One was made by Jonathan Payne. He is a luthier by trade and only makes a few turkey calls a year and sells them on ebay. My other one was made by Winky Hicks from Alabama. He makes an outstanding call. I have a couple friends who saw my call and contacted Winky and got one for themselves. My call from him also has a piece of slate on top the paddle that can be locked into place and used with a striker. I saw on another forum Sadler McGraw comment on what a good push/pull call Winky makes.

Rickey,

Any photos of the Wincky call?  I've used an Ashby for years and love it.  I have to get one from Payne.  I missed his sales last year :(

Dave,

My Winky Hicks call is like the one you posted. You can get that call with or without the slate on the lid. I am also showing a pic of my Jonathan Payne push/pin call.

That is a sweet one! I agree.

Jeff I was told he only builds them at a certain time and he always puts them on ebay.  Rickey probably can shed more light, but I was told if you contact him... he wouldn't put you on the list.  I've never called, so hopefully someone can state whether or not that is true.  I find it hard to believe, but I've never called him :(

I love that call Rickey!
