Classic overdraw or a short arrow. Seen similar not anywhere as bad, seems it was always on a conventional bow.

I shot an overdraw several years ago for a short time and I never liked the idea of drawing the arrow tip and broadhead past my hand holding the bow. Now I see why. Not sure why you would pose for a picture with an arrow through your hand and finger and blood running everywhere, but to each his own.

don't know if you watch relentless pursuit (with tim wells), but there was an episode where tim's father was in the hospital, with an arrow through his hand.  tim's wife says to the camera, "this is why you don't shoot your grandchildren's bows".

could have clipped his arrow shooting at the same spot on his target.
