For a friend.... In need

I made this set of calls to go to a fundraiser for my good friend and co-worker. My friend Rick's wife Lee is going through treatment for Thymus Cancer. There's a softball size tumor that they can't remove till they can get it to shrink. Lee's taking Chemo treatments, but so far it's not working. Lee has been in the hospital for the last 7 weeks with no timetable set as when she can get out. Now to make things worse is the doctors here in Louisville said they need to move Lee to a hospital Indianapolis, IN for more specialized treatment. This will require Rick to commute an extra 6 hrs. a day from there to work and back. I can already see the tow it's taking on Rick and his family, mentally and Physically, but now with the added out of town expenses involved.... It's creating a financial hardship for his family. I just wanted to do something for them that will be a blessing.... Here is Lee and Rick Straw:


So were doing a $5.00 raffle at work toward a set of calls. The Longbox is made of Butternut w/ an Maple lid and Mahogany inlays. The Trough call is also made of Butternut, with Mahogany inlay's and Mahogany all around striker. Please keep the Straw family in your prayers.. .. They sure need them.
If anyone would like a ticket towards this set or would like to donate a call to help out please pm me..... It would be greatly appreciated. 100% of all funds raised goes to the Straw family in this time of need. Thanks for looking!

I want to thank everyone that pledged a call and bought tickets for this much needed fundraiser for Rick and Lee Straw .... We're drawing the winning ticket around 1:00 o'clock tomorrow. So far this raffle has raised $2,135.00 dollars. We are still selling tickets at work till noon Friday. This is going to be a real blessing.... Please keep the Straw family in your prayers  Thanks again!!

Just an update.... The winner of the call set was David Stroud. David is a young turkey hunter and was ecstatic when I called him and told him he had won. I'm very pleased to report that the raffle raised a little over $2,600 for the Straw family. Lee still remains in the hospital in Indy. Doctors from all over the country are giving there input on how to handle this extremely rare Cancer that she is battling. Thank you for your continued prayers and support for Lees benefit.

Im still out of work myself due to neck/spinal chord injury but recovering thankfully.  Wish i had seen this a little sooner so i coulda helped out.  I know first hand how terrible things like this could be.  Best wishes to them both and all their family!!!
