2 Friction Wooder's
« on: March 19, 2016, 01:20:38 PM »
Here are two of my friction wood callers, the first is a maple call (glued box), the second is an Osage/Mahogany call (hewn box). I'm learning as I blindly go. Both calls play good and have good sound to them, but I'm liking the hewn box a bit better. Still need to learn what it takes to tune these critters to get the different sounds out of them, it's coming along quickly  :).
Thanks for lookin, Scott

Kinda sorta. On these your actually playing the back of the call, and the face is the toneboard that vibrates, it's like playing on the bottom of a wood pot call. On a tongue call your playing the toneboard.
