Ha, I hear you, Dave!
I've been anxiously watching the river chart, and they still show it dropping today . . . BUT, it's now projected to shoot right back up tomorrow and be back past flood stage by opening day, of course.
I have some new land to hunt through work and a buddy, so I'm going to give this drier land a shot on opening day, rather than boating to my hunting location (which seems to be the norm here in recent years). If the river won't cooperate by the first weekend, my little flat-back boat is ready to go!
