On behalf of Russell and myself, we would like to thank everyone who turned out to help make this show a success!!! There was a lot of work that went into this show!! From the call makers and knife makers to the guys that volunteered to place 100 plus flyers out and about, to the staff at Unicoi and most of all to you guys that turned out to support the call makers and knife makers!!! If you look back, this show was put into motion in January when I asked for you guys thoughts as to how to bring these shows back. I received numerous inputs as to what it would take to revive them.
All of this was taken into consideration! I am thankful for your input!! This show started back in the seventies as just a group of guys gathering to display and trade their calls. It then grew into the GA State Convention. After being moved around numerous times, we felt it fitting to bring it back to Unicoi as the Unicoi Call Makers Show. This was a humdinger of a show back in its day with people coming from all over to attend this show. This show was built around the call makers themselves, and will continue to do so as long as we have anything to do with it!! We continue to have suggestions thrown at us and we take every one of them into consideration! We consider all of them and weight each one out to figure what is best for this show. Believe me when I say I've put a lot of thought into this show. Friday and Saturday finds me in my shop building calls and I can assure you, this show has consumed my mind for the last year, since January 11th, 2015. The 2017 show is already consuming it!! Thanks again to everyone that participated!! Hope to meet even more of you then!!

 I can only speak for myself, I had a GREAT TIME! Really enjoyed the ability to roam around and talk with fellow call makers. Not to mention the crowd. I would have never thought for the first year, there would have been that many folks, come. Mark and Russell deserve a huge "WELL DONE"!

 2X "WELL DONE". Mark & Russell did a super job. Much bigger crowd than I expected, sorta like the 1990s crowd. Some of the older ones have passed on, some of us have taken their place, so you younger ones can keep this show going for many years.

I had a blast simply loved being around guys who names I have only heard. Can't wait until next year. I'll be showing my support for Unicoi at the Nationals and throughout the year by spreading the word.

Here is another greatful maker to the guys that decided to bring back this historic shownto life. To seethe guys they were always instrumental in the older time Unicoi show in attendance goes to prove the shows goal was well thought through. I was very pleasantly surprised at how fast the idea took off , but we all know there is a place for a show like this one: it was great to feel ya had the time to wander around unlike other shows. The atsmophere was right from the start !! Mark, you and Russell did a jam up job and I'm already looking forward to the next Unicoi show
