spalted woods
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:32:39 PM »
There they sat, on the shelf staring at me...I really enjoy spalted woods, and I had a couple of blanks on the shelf that looked like they ought to get turned.  One is spalted Hard maple, the other is spalted 1/4 sawn sycamore.  Both got slate over glass.  The Sycamore isn't my usual profile, was just kinda having fun, and will be one of a couple of calls donated for auction at the Michigan Longbow Association awards banquet in a few weeks.

Thanks for looking.

John
