Bloodwood over MSP..

Tried a new como today. I was having some trouble getting the sound I was looking for out of my poplar. The problem was I only had a few choices for lid stock.. so I did something I haven't done before... I bought wood from my local wood whore.. oh Lord... it killed me.. I actually paid retail.. well I bought some bloodwood with the advise from a buddy.... I'm going to tell ya.. It made the whole call sound like an all different call..

I used a lot of Blood Wood, one of my favorites. Very hard and chips easily but turns nice on the lathe, has a good smell.
