Another Macassar Ebony question
« on: December 31, 2009, 08:50:45 AM »
I have been trying to get my hands on some of this to try out. It is very hard to find dry material. It seems all the dozon or so people that sell it ---all have miisture content close to 20% . With what I understand about this material -how much of a risk is there of moving and cracking with wood this damp ??  Is it worth the chance to buy some and just see if it works afater I make lids and bases from it ??  I am confused....ONCE AGAIN !!!! *aah* *fall*
