a Jim Bartz collaboration tribute

Here is another in a group of calls I cherish. On my fall hunts to Ohio to turkey dog hunt ---my host and mentor Marlin Watkins usually settle in at some point and make a call together to add to my memory of the hunt. I have always had Iowa maker Jim Bartz to adorn the calls with his masterful woodburning to commemorate the hunt. This call is a Butternut/Bloodwood longbox that we sent to Jim along with three pictures of moments during the hunt. Marlins youngest turkey dog Cutter is styling a hat on the lid, and the sides are Marlin, Me and David walking out from a successful break with the dogs at one set up. The other side is Cutter enjoying her moment with the three birds she broke for us to harvest.
Jim, you are one talented artist and I am thankful you did another call for my set of memories from my hunts with my friends in Ohio. Your touch completes the call .....I am forever thankful you took on the task.
