Made this call yesterday.. Bocote, glass over purpleheart shown with a purpleheart striker. Good, clean yelps with a high pitch that rolls over into a natural, mellow tone. Good cutts, clucks, and purrs. My next glass call Im going to work at getting it sound raspy, we will see! I'm getting ready for a show in late March, going to have my first booth! Let me know if you are a PA'n going to that show, its small, but they have an NWTF sanctioned calling contest and a few small call makers, one of which will be me this year. It's the Kettle Creek Valley Annual Outdoor Show.
