Fundraiser for the callman

We are going to have a fundraiser for Rick Harro AKA callman on here at Osage Roost, it will be held on August 22nd in Enola, PA.  
Rick is a callmaker from PA and many of you know Rick either through this forum or over on HuntingPA.com. Rick organized the very successful fundraiser for Miranda Miller last year.  Miranda is the beautiful little girl that has battled leukemia. Rick also has been instrumental in keeping the PA Boyz breakfast going the last several years.  

Now Rick has been diagnosed with a serious medical condition and needs our help. Like he did for Miranda Miller, we are going to do for Rick.  We are asking for donations in the form of calls, artwork, or any hunting/fishing related items.  We will hold the public auction on August 22nd for people to bid on and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Rick and Deb Harro to help defray the mounting medical bills that insurance will not cover. We appreciate any and all support you can give to help out a great guy that has done so much for others and now needs support and of course prayers to help him and has wife through a tough time and road ahead.  I have seen what this group of call makers and turkey hunters has done in the past for other fundraisers, your a special group of individuals.  I want to thank you all in advance and I will keep you posted on this forum and you can also see what has already been happening on HuntingPA.com as well.  God Bless you all from the bottom of my heart.

Hello to all you guys on the Roost ,I like to thank Robert  Smith or we all know him as silver spur as to what he has told all of you Rick Harro of Gobbler Getters Calls, has been battling some serious health issues I've only known Rick and his wife Deb for a little over a year and I'm here to say that Rick is one of them very special people that you get the chance to come across maybe once or twice in a life time .when something comes along he's always there to pitch in no matter what it may be ,I have gotten to know some of you here on the Roost and I even had the privilege to speak to some of you at Nationals the repatation and the character of this form is highly respected and I'm so glad to be a part of it ,so I come to ask of you,if your a call maker, an artist ,a craftsmen, or your back yard garage tinkering around kind of person ,the  good Lord has given us all a give to help us along the way and he also gave us that gift to help others as well so I'm asking for your help. Let's help one of are own we all know the passion that we have when it comes to making calls well Rick is going through some treatment and he is so exhausted that he's unable to even make calls I my self know's this has to be a difficult time . Hey guys I just got off of the phone with Rick. He wanted to let me know how appreciative he is of everyone's support and donations.

He told me he wanted to donate a call to the event. Only one stipulation, no one is allowed to pay for it.

This call will be drawn at random from the auction numbers. No purchase will be allowed to win this call. Rick wanted it to be a gift for one lucky person at the event, to show how much he appreciates all of the support.



The call is BoxElder and the lid is Red Heart. This is a very special call. He will not be making many of these and this one is #4 of 8.

Not going to lie I hope I win this one.
