Picnic
« on: June 07, 2015, 01:07:09 PM »
We wanted to thank everyone who attended the picnic. What a wonderful group of people! Thoughtful and caring, and all with the deepest heartfelt wishes. Thank you to all those who prepared food. I don't know how we did it, but everyone made something different. What an excellent menu and lots of fantastic choices. Thank you to those that traveled a great distance to be part of the festivities. Galen traveled over 12 hours and Kenny about 5 1/2 hours, to come and eat and talk turkey. To Mark and Cindy for bringing all their cooking equipment and grilling everything to perfection. For Lee, Harry and Deb, who purchased the hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese, rolls, chicken, chips and the million of other items we all enjoyed, thank you. To Harry, thank you for crying your way through chopping 400 onions. To Cindy who spent hours, from midnight on, carving the watermelon basket. A special thank you to my wife, Deb, for all the work she did to make this picnic a success. When we all get together and pitch in, we make memories that last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone for all their contributions and we love you all.

It was a great day with great people and all good friends *up* *up* we were blessed to have Miranda Miller attend. She is the girl we had a fundraiser for last September. It was awesome seeing her infectious smile and bubbly personality enjoying herself this day. She made it possible for all of us to get together again.  RkLu
