I had the pleasure of having Scott Witter.... aka Popcorn Witter. My yankee friend from New York visit my shop over the weekend. Scott came to the Bluegrass in pursuit of the Wild Turkey. Turns out the birds of the Bluegrass we're smarter than the Yankee...

Sorry my friend I'll try to have you one tied to a tree next year...

It was a real pleasure having you visit my Old Kentucky Home friend, Your Welcome back anytime

While here I ask Scott to burn something on a piece of scrap wood. I wanted a small, one of a kind piece that I could display in the shop as a token of Scott's visit. After a little... No a lot of moaning and arm waving I convinced him to do it... Out came the Colwood. He done a beautiful Blackberry Vine for me. It will hang Proudly in my shop for years to come. Also in the shop that day was Frank Kruer aka FKIII. Franks like sawdust... He's always around. Were really great Friends..... Anyway back to the contest. Frank got to running that mouth... Poking fun at Scott (We both were really) I challenged Frank to do the same thing and he did. Being the Instigator I can be, I had them both going back and forth at each other.... After they finished I told them both I was going to post there work here and let the real Experts (The Osage Membership) Vote on who did the best job. Here's there work. On the left is a dogwood by FKIII and on the right is Popcorns Blackberry vine. Time to Vote:

These guy's are going to kill me for doing this....

Here's Scott at it...
Here's Frank at it.

Here's us heading back to the woods.... It's was great sharing the woods with you guy's!! Let's do it again!!
