Three Crosses
« on: April 08, 2015, 08:09:29 PM »
Back in 2001 I made my first striker and had only planned on making a few but thanks to many of you, I've made a few more than I had planned.
I had always kept track of who I had made strikers for and kept them in a notebook that I still enter them in.  At #50 I started to number the striker.
Last week I realized that I was running into an issue with numbering my strikers and didn't know exactly what to do about it.  Last week I was working on striker number 664 and was a little concerned about what was about to come.  I didn't want my name or my strikers associated with the triple 6.  I got online and asked some friends for some advice.  This is what we came up with.

A Bloodwood striker started on Good Friday and finished over Easter weekend.  Instead of a number, I put 3 crosses.
I asked the friend to just put the money for this one in the collection plate at his church on Sunday morning.
Hope the Good Lord approves.
