Killer Pot

Got a sweet surprise in the mailbox the other day.
A beautiful Slate Pot made by Lee Bowles. The pot is walnut and apple wood and the striker was turned from the fatwood of hickory. Smooth and sweet as butter.

I love a well made pot.....THIS one will be in my vest!!!
There's some dead turkeys out there, they just don't know it yet!!!

Tony, That is an awesome call from Lee.  I have come to enjoy his work and talent.  Also, one of the nicest guys you can meet!

Always nice to have a call with Apple in it, sure is pretty. I have a walnut - sycamore slate pot Lee made for me, and it is all turkey . Theres not a day goes by that I don't pick it up and give it some run time. Mine too has a hickory striker. Good pick up on that Tony !!
