Many of you have heard me talk about my "secret" call. I've played it for a few and I just couldn't tell what it was or even what wood combo it was. Direct orders from a good friend of mine (who also happens to be the call maker I have the most calls from

)
I've pestered Al for a couple of months to let me post this killer combo long box. I've been turned down every time

Last night I played the call for Cosmo (I'm glad he cannot drive or I might have lost that call right then

) and he wanted to know if any cookies were included with the call! I told him it would be a big disappointment for Bruce to get this caliber of call and not know how to run it as good as Cosmo

I asked Al today if I could display this beautiful sounding and looking call and I finally got the go ahead. I think the spirit of Christmas helped!
I've always been told an all walnut call is hard to beat in the woods and I wanted a matching long box to go with my short box. This was my Birthday present to myself. I couldn't have had been any happier! I love the sound and it plays extremely easy! It's a medium high pitch long box with a great start that finishes with some amazing roll over! She'll kee kee with the best of them too! Clucks, cut and purrs are amazing too! I'll be trying to give her a good workout when Kansas season rolls around and then see how the Easterns of MO respond!
I have to thank Al for building this for me. He's worked extremely hard on his long boxes and this one is extremely special to me! That ole redneck sure has a great ear for what a turkey sounds like!
