Todays breakfast
« on: February 28, 2015, 01:00:20 PM »
Our breakfast was awesome. We all had a great time.
There was so much turkey knowledge there. We had some of the best call makers in the world with us. This was one of the best days I ever had. Mr. Harry Romig was presented with his winning call from the Grand Nationals. The look on his face was priceless. Andy put together a beautiful display box for the call. Thanks to all that helped and thanks to everyone who came to our breakfast. You all are my friends and my family. What a great group of people.God bless you.

It was definately a fun filled morning seeing old friends and meeting new ones. The high light was the presentation of Mr. Romigs prize winning call from the Nationals to him with his metal intact and in a display case.
There was a lot of yelping and clucking going on with a gobble thrown in here and there. Hope y'all enjoyed it as much as I did and a big thanks for the guys that put this all together.

Got back from the breakfast awhile ago, seen a couple nice flocks of birds on the way home. Seen eight nice gobblers around the Newport exit on 322,  what a great time, met some more people from the roost and some awesome callmakers. Got to talk turkey doggin with some guys and and got some good pointers on calling with yelpers and making them . I got a couple nice calls I will post up soon. A big thanks to Rick and Lonnie for making all this happen. What a fun day to spend with a bunch of guys that share the same passion or addiction to turkey hunting that  that we all seem to have. I think Rick and Lee may be right it may be a Sickness
