I had not been to the NWTF convention in a long time (since the Charlotte days) and I decided to go this year no matter what. I worked a ton of hours last year and saved my pennies. I'm glad I went because I got to meet some super nice folks and got to bring a few of these gems home. I look forward to next year and meeting more of you folks and bringing some more of these fine treasures home with me. They will most definitely be in the turkey woods this coming season.

This beauty turned out to be my Valentine's Day present from my wife. She snuck off and found Del Crow and asked him if he would suggest a trumpet for me,as a gift. He took her over to Matt McLain and they both suggested to her this black mangrove with buff horn trumpet. Later on,when I introduced my wife to Del they both acted like they had never seen each other before. I told my wife if she was to be sneaky, this is the way to do it!
