This place was hot that 2nd week of the season. There was another bird about the same size sittin in the same tree the next day and was just as fired up! He flew down and popped up over a hill. Long story short I missed an opportunity at a nearly identical bird....just misjudged yardage. That was a season to remember.
Here is what he looks like on the wall. This was my first attempt at a homemade turkey fan mount. I like how most of his beard is grey and just the tip is black...Im really proud of him.
