Cutting it close for Nashville is an understatement.  I am trying to finish 18 boxc calls in 16 days.  Usually I can do one a day, but I am working a 4 day work week the next two and a half weeks and that will take out 11 of those days.  Got up at 3:30AM and did one promised for Steve Torman.  The good thing about it,  I have the boxes ready to accept the paddles which are almost ready except beveling.  I sure hope they tune the first go round, likes Steve's did this AM.  At least I should have all the ones finished that are already promised.  The weather this weekend is not looking good though.  Mr. E

John just take it slow and easy and also keep it safe. Lord knows what happens to me when I rush things. I stuck my finger in a 1/2" router bit the last time I pushed myself. You can only do so much.

You are right about that Bill.  I ran my finger into the end of the belt sander twice yesterday.  Luckily when it popped back, it did not break one.  Most of my work with the heavy equipment is just about through.  Getting down to tuning shortly. Mr. E

Don't rush them John.  Take your time, don't get hurt.  When I try to rush I ALWAYS mess things up.

Not Mine L.T.  ---  My wife's.    She was hollering at me yesterday.  I think my Welch Corgi has been deaf for a while now.  I got in from work and got 5 persimmon paddles ready to put on boxes and tune.  I will start on those about 3:30AM.  I am down to file, sandpaper, and scrapping with a knife that Frank got me last year.  I shouldn't have any major problems or accidents.  Thanks for all the be Safe's.  Should have some good ones for ya'll to play.  My wood man Steve has the a Jim Dandy Turpin in his set.  I want even take it apart or adjust the screw it sounds so good.  Just quit while I was ahead on it.

Washered those 5 Persimmon/Walnut Turpins this AM.  and tuned the first.  Hope all   tune like this first one.  Brent, Ed, LT, Joe and Russell should like hearing this.    Mr. E

3 tuned of those Persimon Turpin Huntrers. One thing learned over the years is you can't hurry love.  It may come to you in a rush, or may take hours.  I'm talking about that turkey love bird sound here boys.

I have 10 promised boxes finished up or tuning now. I also will have 11 that I am tuning on now for sale.  21 seems like a lucky number for Nashville.  Booth 324.  I see the booth locator is up on the NWTF site.
