English Walnut Slate Call

I turned this one out a couple of months ago.... English walnut is not easy to find at your local wood store....and did a gunstock finish which does take time but is very rewarding when done.....I'll turn a macassar ebony striker to go w/ it very soon..

when I do some practice on checkering on curved surfaces....I'm going to checker between the hole pattern....should be real nice when done....
