a Collaboration project with Kelly ...

I was fortunate to be asked to provide two longboxes for a project by one of the great members here.....and did I jump at the opportunity. Have not been exposed to any of Kelly's work at that time, but saw a sample or two prior to making the boxes. We decided to make the boxes as plain as plain --to give Kelly all the area she could use.....we each talked briefly with the ARTIST to kinda give her an idea of what we each were looking for ....and left the rest up to Kelly. All gifted artists can talk to someone and get the jest of the artwork they need to portray, and boy did Kelly nail it--they say ...."hammer meets nail" so to speak.
We are graced with a number of very talented burner/artists here on this site, and we now have another to add to the group. Kelly is one VERY talented lady, and I am proud these two noisemakers of mine proudly wear her artwork--she took the calls to a new level to me and the other owner. Kelly, this call will proudly be displayed along my other cherished calls thanks to your talent. Thanks to a great member for providing me the opportunity to work with Kelly on this project. I really look forward to working more with you Kelly in the future...you are a VERY TALENTED artist

Thanks Jeff! I'm glad you are happy with the artwork.Have you spotted the UFO in the background yet?(just kidding). I had fun doing them. The cherry and butternut were easy to work with. They look really good now with the finish on. Thanks to you and the other member for having me do this on your awesome boxes.Can't wait to do some more!!
