Here is some very pretty Pecan wood, made a beautiful set of calls. I found some light horn with brown streaks that seemed to go nicely with the wood used for this set.  These girls are headed to South Carolina looking for action as soon as I get the lanyards finished.

That's a really nice pair Dave!!  I like the light colored horn.

Our pecan grows too fast down here to make a decent trumpet.

Thanks for the kind words guys, much appreciated. The last time I used this wood was for a set of calls I made for Mike Mims, sure do miss our conversations, and I know he would have liked these...
