a tradegy for the Daryl Slaton family

a lot of us don't keep an eye on the Prayers page as often as we should.....one of our members here ad a tragedy last night with his 19 yr old son---Daryl Slaton is suffering a sever loss ---didn't want this un noticed on the prayer page as Daryl has been a member here for years .

Just wanted to update folks here.  I drove down today to come to visitation and the funeral of Daryl's son Cody. 

I am back at my room and surprised Daryl and his family.  I told him everyone had them in their thoughts and prayers and he said to say thanks to everyone. 

It's hard seeing your best friend in pain.  For those of you that didn't know Cody, he was an amazing kid.  Way to young to leave this Earth, but the good Lord must have needed an amazing Angel. 

Cody looked really good and I was able to meet a bunch of family and friends of Daryl's.  You can tell Cody was really liked with the amount of people at the visitation.

I know tomorrow will be super tough on Daryl and family, so please keep the prayers coming.

So sorry to hear of this. I remember meeting Cody at Nashville years ago and he was a great kid. I send prayers for the entire family from Pennsylvania.
