The company I work for sent me Cheraw, SC., to do some staking for Sandhill Telephone Company!! Where I pulled my camper to is Moree Sportsman's preserve. I'm in hog-heaven!!! 2600 acres of woods with 18 ponds! Mike Johnson, the manager, told me to help myself to the fishing. They shoot over 40,000 upland game birds a year, including quail, chukka, and pheasant. Along with this, they offer sporting clay shoots. They offer deer and wild boar hunts, along with turkey hunts. Maybe I can get in there..... The place actually has over 5000 acres, but the part I'm staying on is 2600. Check out their web site!!! Part of it is on the Pee-Dee River. They are the ones that put on the Pee-Dee Deer Classic every year in Florence, SC.
