A few Carolina Turkeys.
« on: December 15, 2009, 12:14:49 PM »
I thought I would share pictures of my 2009 Gobblers. The first bird was taken on April 2 on my new hunt club in South Carolina. The second bird was taken on one of my favorite game lands in the North Carolina mountains. He was a hard earned turkey for sure. I took him on April 29 after a 7 hour hunt. I took him at a range of 3 yards when sneaked in for a closer look.

Thanks for the comments. And yes there is pretty long story for both of them.

Congrats,  Mike....those NC mountain birds live in some very harsh habitat.... ;D   Well at least for a somewhat flat lander like me.  I did cause a couple of them to make a bad decision that....well, cost them there life..... ;D  I did well there, but don't have the urge to go back.......I know I was lucky..... *bowing*
