Artificially cured Osage?
« on: June 13, 2014, 01:01:48 AM »
I saw a post on Facebook of a trumpet turned from some artificially mud cured green Osage. Don't remember who the call maker was, maybe he's on here. Said he got it from some company in AZ. The call looked great. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this. Maybe it's been around awhile and I just heard about it.

Go to the callmakers thread and look at Testing man made hedge by Ghost5.  I think that is what your referring too!

That would be me and the maker, shadetree_1, is on here too. It is something new Joe came up with and personally I like turning it I have two more orders for trumpets waiting on my blanks to get here.
