Thanks everybody. These forums help me deal with the depression that comes after you've hunted your last day of the season. I think I'm gonna like it here. I was told to come here to find a gentleman from Mississippi that goes by Morgan if I want to get a good slate. I've only been completely satisfied with one slate call and I bet I've owned close to 40 and probably 30 were customs. Believe it or not I got lucky and picked up the "right" Woodhaven legend walnut slate. I've played others that didn't sound nowhere near as good as what mine did. A gentleman that used to call for Woodhaven heard that call and said they were "few and far between". Trying to find another. That's what brought me here,and after looking around I think nim really gonna like it here. My kinda place.
