Devil Do-Dat **soundfile added**
« on: May 13, 2014, 08:21:23 PM »
Really not sure what to call this one as far as a name goes.  I thought maybe Turk-a-Tron.  *wha* Made and played in the Do-Dat style.  I have been working on similar type styles on and off over the last couple years. This one is macassar ebony over curly spalted maple.  The inlay is elk antler, ebony, turquoise, red coral and yellowheart.  With this wood combo it has a high and nasty sound.  In fact, extra nasty on the raspy!  I made this one up as an extreme locator type call.  Purrs....sounds like a cat caught in a blender!   ROTFLMBO  Anyway, just playing around with some ideas and this was the result.  Thanks for the look. LT   Finally got around to adding a sound file that I should have done some time back.  Hunting season MIGHT have gotten in the way!

I was wondering why you painted it, until I read the post and realized it is inlay.  Then, I wanted it,  *lol*.  Very nice!
