I know some of you have been waiting patiently to see these, and here are the first few in this combo, Osage over Cypress. This Cypress was sent to me by a member of the forum, and is some very special wood. It was submerged in the Mississippi River for many, many years, then dredged out and milled around 1810, in Louisiana.
I made a call out of it with a Walnut striker, and liked the sound. Bulldogmikey called me and wanted to hear it with an Osage striker, so I put one on and played it, and he liked the sound of that combo, which is now known as the "Bulldog Mikey Special." I have a few more of these to make, and am still perfecting the sound,not an easy combo, so please bear with me!
