An experiment that turned out great. Green stained oak, slate pot.

Well, after making a red stained bowl for my niece, i decided to try this. Stained it green, and it really worked well! The green is actually a bit more neon in color than the pics show, pretty sweet! Slate over glass, sounds great! It is going to go in the classifieds sometime soon here. With a cherry striker.

Wow, this stuff is popular, 3 times ive been asked already! Lol!  It is food coloring, applied it while the call was turning with a rag, then let it dry until dry, then coated it again. Little 400 grit sanding between and after coats and then ready for the finish.  *up*
