In Illinois this is now called Chiraq. City officials are trying to get people to stop saying Chiraq as they say it leads to more violence...
Truth is, the first quater of 2014 was great statistically for reduced number of overall crime. The police, sherrif and local government all slapped each other on the backs for doing such a great job.
Now here's the real story- IT WAS COLD!!!!! The weather has improved and people are back on the streets. Life has resumed in Chiraq and the death toll will increase in the city with some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Not to meantion the unconstitutional profiling, search and seizure that has been deemed legal by the local government. If you walk down the street in Chiraq you are subject to being searched without consent, court order, reason or anything- just because they can.
