Trumpet calls

Would like to use a trumpet for calling this spring. Having a heck of a time trying to come up with something that sounds turkeyish :^). Anybody have links or suggestions?

There are a bunch of good call makers on here that make fine trumpets. Can't go wrong with any of them. Just view the Call makers section and scroll down thru the posts.

I have several of the calls from call makers on here.  I like almost all of them.  Each person is a bit different and what I like, some of my friends do not.   

Look at ones you like and contact that call maker is my recommendation.  That is how I started off

Dasman, If your looking for one there are some great call makers here. Austy, Blackfalcon, Shadetree callers just to name a few. If your looking to learn how to play them, theres a post at the top of page in the hunters vest section. Its posted by savduck. that's what I've used.

Practice, practice, and more Practice. There is a video somewhere od Savduck giving instructions it could help you some. It helped me improve on my trumpet and wingbone calling.

My trumpet calling ability improved dramatically once I realized I was drawing way too much air.  Keep after it, my trumpet mentor suggested I get one of those handheld tape recorders and set that up away from my calling location, then play it back.  That helped a lot.
