It's a sad time, but FYI OSAGE ROOST will be pulling the plug at the end of the month. It's been a great 15 years since the start, but it's hardly ever used now and time to move on!
Naw...but it does make feel like I have an edge...
Far from it. Have had many times when it all came together textbook like from a roosted tom. Usually when he was alone on roost or with a fellow tom. Still I love to roost each eve to keep tabs and have that rush that only comes spring and fall. In the fall, roosting a tom can be deadly for him where I tread.
Roosting is a lot of fun and is part of turkey hunting..adds greatly to the anticipation and excitement...but does Roosted = Roasted? Perhaps a survey of hunters would provide a percentage answer to that question..I suspect the answer is mostly NO!
