I got an email last week that contained the names of several call makers I know well but it looked suspicious so I did not open it, glad I didn't cause it was a virus too and I know wasn't from them.  Is someone getting info from the forums and using it to send virus...kinda sounds like it.  Be careful.

So, anyone know what kind of virus is in there. I was on here last night and saw this thread but didn't read it. Then saw an email from Scotty and opened it. It opened to a video clip of Dr. Oz I didn't click on any links just closed the email and deleted it. I ran a virus check on my PC but nothing showed up. My PC seems to be working fine but ya never know.  :-[

I deleted it, so far no problems with the PC. I didn't open any of the links in the email.

Sorry guys.....I friend of mine called me today and said he got an email from me this morning on his I phone that looked fishy.......Porter...What causes this?  Is it something i did?

Guys, Just to let everyone know. Scotty has deleted his E mail account and has a new one.
strutncustomcalls@yahoo.com  He is not the only one that I have got those e mails from.
Seems like other callmakers are being targeted to so be careful.

Could be.  If something was sent asking you for your password, that did it.  Could be your account was just compromised and changing your password resolves it.
