A Raspy Call, I think I would like a Raspy Call.
Sorry for all the questions, Being new to Turkey Hunting & Calls, I need all the advice & Info I can get!!!!!

Yellow cedar or Cyrress ofr Walnut or Mahogany or Spanish Cedar or... Their are several. The Yellow cedar I just posted are AWESOME!

I have a Zebra wood over Mahogany I used this past spring that has a high start and a real raspy finish and the birds really responded to it. I not only called in gobblers but several hens with it as well. It just has that "sound" that turkeys seem to like. I have a bunch of box calls and this one will never be too far from my vest. I may not hunt with it everyday but it will be carried a lot.

Man you are going to make me pull my calls out.  I think I have one with Limba... Al can you help me?  I know one thing, it was a killer call... now was it zebrawood or Shedua...  That's what I cannot remember.  

Mahogany and Yellow Cedar would also be two great boxes!

Mike, the combo you have is Limba/Shedua....

 Poplar, Limba, Mahogany, Spanish Cedar, all work well with Zebrawood... I'm sure there's other boxes that would work well too.

I think the call you are talking about is the Shedua over Black Limba. I got one from SS after I saw the picture of yours. It is a high-pitched raspy call as well.

 Lee, my main huntin ground is just south of the outhouse!!!  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO  The streaked limba and shedua did make for a nice camo look though!! Mike's wife just don't have good taste in turkey calls!  *aah*  Well, those are Mike's words, not mine, just for the record!  ;D
