Here is my first place decorative entry in the 2014 NWTF grand national callmaking competition.
I was honored with a first place in the turned trumpet category, and first place in the air operated division.
This call and display base is made from Asian water buffalo horn (black)
Muskox horn (creme), and sterling silver.
There is also a round cut diamond set into my signature baffle inside the end of the call.
I titled this piece " Diamond in the Rough" combining both polished and rough horn from both species.
It was a blast as always to see the Roost crew, and gain some new friends. A big congrats to everyone here who competed and placed in Nashville this year.
