Cocobola Trough Call
« on: February 23, 2014, 09:23:41 PM »
Here is the trough call that I was fortunate to win 1st place with at his years NWTF Grand Nationals. I built this one from cocobola which gives them a nice earthy tone with plenty of rasp . The slate surface makes them very easy to run and get the right sounds out of them . These trough calls will yelp with a nice break over and the purrs and clucks are very realistic to my old ears . A big thanks to all of you for the back pats and the congratulations . This call raised quite a stir at the auction and the price went too high for me to buy it back . Thankfully the winning bidder offered to send me the call in return for another one just like it . Thanks again everyone.
Bob
