first ivory trumpet

Figured I'd post up this trumpet I finished . I had this chunk of ivory for a while and did a lot of thinking on it befor doing any cutting. The most enjoyable material i've ever turned.

Is this your very first ivory trumpet?  If so, that shocks me.  I figured you'd done ivory before gold  ROTFLMBO

Yeah Mike, it's my first. Heck if I screwed the gold up , all I had to do was melt it down and recast it !!!!!!  I haven't ever tried meltin' ivory down  ROTFLMBO  But I think it would be a smelly mess ???

Steve I think screw ups are not a part of your vocabulary.  You could just make it different and blame it on the Show Me state inside you!!!!  I wouldn't want to deal with either one!

You have definitely created some beautiful masterpieces and this one is no exception!!!!
