From what I know, the moderator(s) felt that the thread jad breached the rules set forth by the phantom Porter. From this point on can we agree to follow the rules, make certain there is no censoring and be friendly even if you dont agree with someone elses opinion or viewpoint.
I make a motion to let this stuff be bygones and move forward in a positive manner which will benefit this site. Now lets talk turkey !!!

Job, I had no idea why this forum was created or what the name of the other forum is, to be quite honest.  I agree it's sad to some really good guys leave the forum and I agree that you should be allowed to voice your opinion, in an appropriate, respectful manner, like you said.

It seems thru the years, that crap like this pops up from time to time. Why, I'm not sure, but one thing for sure, everybody doen't like the same thing and never will. People should be able to speak their mind and we should all be adult enough to handle that.

As long as MEN are involved in competition....

There will be ego's & pride involved, which create disagreements, which lead to arguements, which lead to mud slinging...... *peep*

We've had some real knock down drag out battles on this forum by which feelings were hardened beyond repair and guys were booted off the site.

History repeats itself and we seem to be in a time of turmoil with emotions becoming out of control......

Relax, chill out & lets get back to turkey calls....It's ALLOT more fun that way..... *cheers*

Gotta agree with Hobie and Zumer. When I joined this site not long ago in search of custom calls and to learn more about hunting, I can honestly say I've met and spoken to some very respectable people on here. Call makers and collectors who are just good people that share the same obsession as we all have....Turkeys! You have to respect people's opinions, especially if you put yourself out there. Take it for what it is.

I wanted to reply to the original thread on the differences between Cnc and handmade calls, from a collectors point of view, and WHAT makes me buy calls from you all,( I was actually afraid to voice my opinion) and I will tell you that none of THIS from any of YOU wants to make ME buy any at all . At the very least you don't get this from the calls on the shelf at Walmart or Gander Mountain. I buy calls from folks who act like adults and can converse in a civil manner. You ALL are the best callmakers in the world, time to start acting like it. One thing for certain, look at the bottom of the page, see who all is logged in as members at ANY given time, THEN LOOK AT THE # OF GUESTS this site attracts, They are the ones watching you all, they are your potential customers. I really don't feel any of you can afford to lose any of THEM. Think about that for awhile, if you had a brick and mortar store, would you argue in front of your customers in this manner ????    Thanks, Lonnie Sheeley

As of right now, 2-12-14, 8:43 PM, the count is 24 guests per 16 members, guests usually outnumber the users, which guest will turn out to be your customer, you gotta ask yourself that question?

That is almost word for word what I said to Job in text message after my original post.  Not everyone will be happy with the results, everyone can't win or it wouldn't be a contest.  Is the system perfect, probably not, but it's the best they've come up with so far.  We all need to agree the system isn't perfect, likely never will be, move on, and get back to all that's GOOD and RIGHT about turkey hunting, the calls, the guys who put their heart and soul into turning out quality calls, and, of course, the majestic turkey itself  *gobble* *gobble*
