Couple more....

Had some realty work done and the gentleman said he would prefer a call in payment.  Gonna put it in his office.  So I did a sassafrass and walnut short box with feather inlay and a touch of antler on handle.  He is more of a deer hunter.  Also did a simple base for him to set it on.  And a no frills cherry over butternut hunter.  Nothing real fancy although the grain in this cherry is pretty nice.  A good sounding hunting call, especially for the fall or late season.  A little more on the younger hen sounding side of things. And I finally put a body on the inlayed Devil Turk lid.  Poplar all the way baby!  This one will really bark at em!!  Hi on the front to some nasty rasp on the back.  This is a sound that I personally really like and if its around AND the creeks don't rise, it WILL kill some birds this spring ;)
