Hope they got somewhere warm to go!!

It topped out here in middle GA at a whopping 21 degrees today. I feel for you guys up in the northern states. I got to the camper last night to find the campground had cut the water off. It was cold going to the bath house in 6 degree weather. Something us folks ain't use to!! Talked to Erb this morning. He said it was 39 degrees at 6 this morning in Saftey Harbor. It's suppose to be up in the 70's, by the weekend, here.

Had a sculling trip planned for ole Bullock and one of his brothers for some Canvasbacks---we had to postone it---never dreamed the ice would be the thing that stopped our trip..

Bout the same here.  About 0 this morning with windchill down to -10 or so.  And warming up to 50 this weekend!  That means mud, slop and maybe some floods here.  :(  I here the folks in Syracuse / Buffalo are gonna get hit by 3-4 feet of lake effect snow.  Man that would be tuff, tuff to handle.   :-\

minus 4 in Chambersburg Pa. this morning, with 28 mph winds, down right nasty. I watched a downy woodpecker on the suet cake, he'd eat only from the side facing the east, as the wind was blowing from the west. I thought, the more the little fella' eats, the more he becomes exposed to the elements. I just don't know how the little creatures pull this off.  Don't forget the pets tonight, any livestock or farm animals, and don't forget to fill the bird feeders in the morning.
