I was asked to send a call to a NY. magazine to run tests on and photograph for an article they are doing on calls this spring. This is a rock maple over chestnut, with a walnut/port oxford cedar striker, that has some sweet turkey coming out of her. It has a high pitched start that rolls over into a raspy old hen, the kees are sharpe and clear, the clucks are spitty, and she will bark out some loud cutts.
I hope it performs well for them and shows them what a tongue call is capable of doing. I will get the call back after they are done with it.
