Truly awesome call, Scott. The most amazing thing is that your talent is wasted on someone like Jake St John.

Mike, I gotta tell ya, the woodland scene was hard for me...I think because John's story painted so much more of a story that I was nervous the whole time wondering if I could even come clsoe to what he had stamped in his mind. If you look close, a key element of the scene and the actual hunt was the large tree on the left a Cottonwood I believe, and if you look very close you can berely make out John's gun leaning up against the tree on the left. John had fallen asleep after hunting the gobbler all morning at the base of this tree and then was woken by a thundering gobble as the bird came walking down the two-track, he ended up shooting him while lying down beside it.
