Just let me start by saying I stand behind all that you guys say and believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. With my profession I see the cruel ways of the world which includes the Media. This is just yet another cruel way of a select few twisting the words and ideas of Mr. Robertson to fulfill their needs. The media at times.....most of the time will use semantics or slant things to make it controversial. What bothers me most is there is no "watchdog" to hold media accountable. We have lost our focus as a nation and have been softened not only from within but in the eyes of the world. It seems we have lost the knack of politely telling those minority few who think they matter to Shut Up.

It is wonderful to know there are still some christian people that will take a stand, i hear all the time you are not suppose to judge others, but Mr Robertson was not judging by what he thought, but by what GOD said in his Holy Word, if more christians would go by what GOD SAYS THAN WHAT THEY THINK, i know i am going to hit a touchy subject here, but if this world would quit trying to changes GODS word to make it easyer to understand and fit the lifestyle they are living , some version have taken the blood of our LORD JESUS CHRIST OUT IT ALL TOGETHER , leaving people with no understanding that by his blood our sins are covered, Hebrews 9:14, 1 John 1:7 . If christians would start letting this world see something differant in their lifestyles ,instant of falling right into the way of the world, we are getting very close to the second coming, We as christian people should be watching. amen

Very well spoken Rev. Mike!!! We as Christians need to quit waiting on others to take a stance and take one ourselves. We are to be ministers of God's word. The Apostle Paul, everywhere he went. was a witness for Christ. In 3 short years, the word of God was spread throughout all of Asia. We as Christians are not doing our part. The storm that came about when Jonah was on the ship, was it for the lost people or for Jonah??? It was for Jonah. The things that happen today are not for the lost because they are ignorant of God's word. It is to wake the sleeping Christians up.

A&E Committed Suicide, when they baned Phill !!! Even the media, congressmen, and 3/4 of the nation is behind Phill. Looks like the liberals have choosen the wrong redneck to try to pick on? Sometimes this country needs a good kick in the wha-who's to get us off our rearends and stand up for what we believe. Thanks to A&E, they may have just done that!!!

Simply put GQ used Phil to sell there product. A interview with loaded questions that they twisted around to make a christian values family man look like a bunch of backwood sap's. A&E didn't stand behind Phil and it's going to bite them in the wallet in the long run . I agree with everything Phil said and support him totally on this matter. Phil had the Stones to tell it like it is  "My Man"  . Freedom of speech goes both ways. They just don't want to hear his side and that's the fact Jack!! I support the  on A&E. I will not be watching anything on that channel. To be honest beside DD... I never watch A&E anyway so no great loss. I see the family standing behind Phil... As they should and pulling the plug on DD and sending A&E a slap in the face. I bet there are other networks just waiting for the chance to take the DD project over. Phil for President!!

It's not about freedom of speech!!!! It's about America being a Christian nation. If you walk in and start running down the company you work for, don't you think they would show you the door??? If you were telling something different than what your company believed in, don't you think they would call you into the office for a heart to heart?? It's no different than the county next to mine saying "we"re taking God out of the school system"!! Where does the up and coming generations learn about God from?? Home?? Our church is full of children that we go pick up while mom and dad stay at home. You think those kids are learning about God at their house??  NO!! It's about Christians standing up and being Christians. People are ignorant of what God's word says. It's not enough to say "I'm a Christian". God commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations. We can begin with our neighbors. Christ said, "Ye shall know a tree by the fruit it bears". The Pharisees and Saducess thought they were doing God's work too! But, yet they led a life full of hypocrisy. The thing that interested me was, Phil mentioned the adultures too. Nobody said anything about that. I guess that is accepted today. Christ told them that a harlot had a better chance of entering into the Kingdom of Heaven than they did! We just need to start spreading the good news more. Christ crucified, Christ buried and Christ resurrected!!! The Rapture is coming, but no one thinks it will come in their life time. I for one think it will be in our life time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you're not ready, you'd better get there!!!

America is greatly rooted in its Christian beliefs I don't think any one will argue that. But if you think for a second that our freedoms of all kinds arent in jeopardy think again!!! Jus look around you. Phil spoke about his belief in what the bible says and that "offended people" and now because he stated his Christian beliefs he's under attack.  That's freedom of speech where I come from..

Tim, I'm not saying we are not losing our freedoms. It's like letting a child run the household, then when he gets 16 or 17, you start trying to discipline him. My point being if we had been doing what the Bible instructed us to do all along, we would not be in the mess we are in today!!! Myself included!! It's just like a guy in my Sunday school class that talks about how man has allowed the country to get in the shape it is in today. He seems to forget that he is part of mankind. When you live in a perverse nation, yes perverse, as we do, then what else can you expect. Sorry to say but the closer we get to the end of time, the more of your freedoms you will lose!!! Do I like it??     NO!!      Is it inevitable?    NO!!!
Let's ask ourselves this, how did we get a president like Obama to begin with? Did Christian people put him in office or was it the ones that make us a perverse nation put him there??? My point being, and I agree with everything Phil said; but, one man can not change the way things are today. We can't just rely on Phil. We can sit at the computers all day long and talk back and forth; but, until we as Christians step out into the mission field and start spreading God's word as Phil did, it's only going to get worst........and fast too!!!

How many of us , as Christians, asked one person this week, if they know Jesus Christ??
How many of us witnessed to the first person this week?
How many of us quoted scripture to someone this week?
If we answer, none.....Then this is why Phil is being bashed!! This is why America is in the shape it is in today. This is why gays and lesbians can now legally marry in 18 states. This is why mind altering video games are in all of the homes today. This is why, if you own a photography studio and offer your services to the public, you can not refuse to photograph a gay wedding. Or, own a bakery and have to cater the wedding if asked. This is why mine and your freedoms are disappearing. The spoiled little kid is still running the family(nation)!!!

Well I can now add Cracker Barrel. Last week my  boss told me that him an another employee were talking an he said"Richard knows the bible but he doesn't know God". I just looked at him an said "Neither of you know me" and I think someone should be looking in the mirror. Asked him what he thought about Phil. He said he was an uneducated redneck. I said well you just proved my point you just proved that both you fools are full of crap. Believe me I sin but I know who to ask for forgiveness. Both are black an members of NAACP go figure.
