Mailbox Surprise

Got home yesterday and checked the mailbox. When I looked in it there was a shipping tube in it. I was a little confused because I was not expecting anything yet. Well I looked at the sender and was like, "could it really be!?" Drove up into the yard and opened her up and a beauty she is. It was a Cocobolo Trumpet with a Buffalo Horn mouthpiece from Mr. Mike Williams from Murrells Inlet, MKW is what he puts on his calls. I spoke with him some time back about one of this calls but I was not expecting to get it quiet yet. This call is a little special in the fact that it was actually hunted by Mr. Williams himself and he killed a public land bird with it. I am excited to have it with me in the field this coming season. Come on April!

Donald, that is a beauty of a call, and a turkey killer too. I think it probably was the demise of more than one public land bird too! That call comes with a track record you're going to have to continue.... ;D. Good luck with it this coming season.

Yessir, that's a beauty! I have 2 of his trumpets and they are one of the "best kept secrets" in all turkey calls!
